Ticket to Ride is a strategic game where players collect train cards to claim railway routes, earning points by completing routes and connecting cities.​ The game offers numerous DLCs, each with unique rules and mechanics, featuring maps like Asia, San Francisco, and Switzerland.

DEVELOPMENT

  • Researched the theme, genre and target audience.

  • Analyzed the digital predecessor.

  • Presented designs and ideas to the team and leadership.

  • Designed a matchmaking and rematch system in collaboration with UX and UI designers to ensure a seamless, brand-aligned experience.

  • Created and maintained Game Design Documentation.

  • Supported AI design by working with a programmer and providing feedback.

  • Designed FTUE and tutorials based on research into effective onboarding.

  • Assisted with localisation, data entry, and other programming tasks.

  • Collaborated with a Sound Producer to design SFX and music, providing feedback to ensure thematic alignment and prioritization.

  • Conducted playtesting and worked with QA to identify and resolve bugs.

  • Helped with Console Adaptation design following each platform's technical requirements.

POST-LAUNCH

  • DLCs

    • Collaborated with UX, UI, 2D and 3D Art and Programming teams to implement rules, strategy, and features, preserving the physical version’s fun while enhancing the digital experience.

    • Main focuses: New rules, Strategy, AI, Character and Cosmetic design, Postcard design, FTUE and Rulebook, Achievements, SFX and Music.

  • Designed and proposed new features to further improve the game.

  • Conducted playtesting and worked with QA to identify and resolve bugs.
